Meeting of Greek-Australian Associations Concerning New Migrants

Under the initiative of the Australian Greek Welfare Society (AGWS) and the Greek Orthodox Community of Melbourne and Victoria, a meeting will be held where Greek-Australian Unions will decide how they can help Greeks who migrate to Australia.

The meeting will be held on the 28th of February at the building of the Community (3rd floor, 168 Lonsdale St, Melbourne), where the attendees will be discussing ways to form a common attitude towards new Greek migrants to Australia.

According to the letter published for the meeting, the migration from Greece to Australia is of great importance and demands the cooperation of the whole Greek community.
