Uk newspaper Financial Times ranked Greek Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos as the worst minister for finances in Europe for 2011.
Venizelos got the worst rating in terms of political ability, economic performance and credibility in the markets and landed at the 19th and last spot of the list. More particularly, he was characterized as “energetic and ambitious with a strong dislike towards numbers”.
Sweden’s Anders Borg was the winner of this year’s list, while Germany’s Wolfgang Schaeuble comes second.
Former Greek FinMin George Papaconstantinou had rank 8th in FT FinMin rankings last year.
