The names of both Greece’s new Prime Minister and government officials are going to be announced tomorrow. A statement issued by the governmental spokesperson Ilias Mosialos said the meeting between George Papandreou and Antonis Samaras aimed at determining the name of the new Greek PM was made in “constructive spirit” and will continue tomorrow, indicating no deal had been reached between the two main political parties on who would lead their coalition.
Greek political leaders had been expected to agree on Monday on who would lead the new coalition government that will push through the euro-zone bailout deal but for once more Mr. Papandreou and Mr. Samaras were unable to reach an agreement.
