Greek Man Suspected of Terrorism Surrenders Readily

Greek police authorities have stated that a man suspected of being involved in a domestic terrorist organization has surrendered to authorities.
Police said that the 36-year-old, whose name remains officially unknown, resorted to judicial authorities in Athens, on Friday morning.
An arrest warrant had been pending against him for suspected participation in the Revolutionary Struggle group, which has claimed numerous bomb attacks in Athens, most without causing serious damages. This group has also set a massive car bomb in the past outside Citibank central offices in 2009, but the device did not function.
The 36-year-old man is best known for the actions of firing a rocket-propelled grenade at the U.S. Embassy in 2007, and detonating a powerful bomb outside the Athens Stock Exchange in September 2009.
