On Sunday the 18th of September, a businessman was murdered in the Central Vegetable’s Market of Rentis area.
The man had visited a butcher of the area, in order to buy some meat products for his shop. He was holding a small bag with money under his arms. According to sources, 5 people had been watching him, waiting to steal his money.
The businessman tried to prevent the theft and that led to a double shoot from close range with kalashnikov.
The man was transferred to the General Public Hospital of Nikaia, where he died. According to eye-witnesses, the murders were chased but were unfortunately were not caught.
In the Central Vegetable Market of Rentis, crowds reach a peak during certain hours, as merchants and consumers visit this specific market in order to buy meat products, making it easy for one to escape.
