International Top Model Makes a Bold Statement in Recent Fashion Commercial Filmed on Greek Island

Valeria Mazza

The picturesque village of Oia on the beautiful island of Santorini was the ideal setting for production team Francisca Contesse, Louis Bronsard and Director, Martin Romanella from Procine Santiago to film a vibrant fashion commercial with International Top Model, Valeria Mazza. In cooperation with the agency Dittborn & Unzueta and Falabella Regional, the sultry summer collection was filmed on an impressive cliff with spectacular views over the volcano of Palia.
Valeria Mazza, a former Argentine fashion model who has appeared on the covers of ‘Glamour’, ‘Elle’ and ‘Vogue’ looked chic and girly as she stepped out in colorful, romantic dresses, high waisted skirts and elegant, flared trousers. Mazza, who is well-known for her professionalism, did all her own driving, piloting and ocean-based underwater scenes while on location.
The collection, inspired by renowned designers Gucci, Chanel and Dolce Gabbana shone brightly in iridescent shades that contrasted sharply with the snow-white houses and blue domed churches in the background.
Procine Santiago was serviced in Greece by ‘Green Olive Films’. A company founded by Simos Manganis which services film and photo productions and also promotes the unknown regions of the South East Mediterranean to the rest of the world. The company worked on the commercial under the stewardship of Maria Kopanou and her first-rate Athens crew. Along with London-based Director of Photography, Philip Blaubach, who supervised a secondary one-day shoot in Athens, Falabella managed to show the spectacular fashion collection in its true vibrant colors.
