According to the National Medical Association announces a strike to take place on the 8th and 9th of September, just before the conduction of the Thessaloniki International Fair.
The strike will be in reaction to the creation of the National Organization for Health Services (EOPYY).
At an extraordinary general meeting, the Association decided that it rejects the whole of the government’s plan for EOPPY as unacceptable and dangerous for the care of people, the dignity of Greek doctors and medical work.
The Association also urges the ministries in charge to not process to the realisation of their projects and review their positions on the basis of proposals made by the medical community.
