According to an article of the Greek newspaper “Proto Thema” the Personal Data Security Authority has made reforms in various accesses of information for reasons of transparency.
For example, any candidate who participates in competitions organized by the public sector will be able to access the personal data of other participants. Another example is when a student at Harokopion University whose demand for transfer was not approved, he had the right to see the record of the proceedings of the Department’s General Meeting.
The Authority also gave permission to the Ministry of Interior to make known the record of proceedings of Board meetings regarding the selection of Heads of Departments for interested candidates who were not selected, or information related to sick leaves when it is necessary.
