According to an article from the Greek newspaper “Ethnos”, owners of farmlands with orange trees in Arta, Northern Greece stated that foreigners have been stealing fruits that have the ideal size for making sweets with preserved fruits in syrup to sell in cake shops.
The farmers claim that they are seeing more and more suspects with cars and motorcycles carrying crates near their orange trees.
