According to the decision of the Chief of Police, a 23-year-old policeman of Attica was suspended for creating a Facebook group (Group DELTA-Greek Police) using the name and emblems of the Greek Police. For four months, he had been publishing photographic material concerning police cases, including comments and inviting people to commit crimes towards specific groups of people.
The group was deleted from Facebook after an order from the public prosecutor. After the identity of the owner of the Facebook page was revealed, the house of the young policeman was searched. In his laptop they found the pictures posted on the group page. A brief against him will be deposed to the public prosecutor.
