On Tuesday, July 26th the mayor of Thessaloniki Yannis Boutaris met with the general consulate of Albania, Riza Ponta to discuss about the procedures of the twining of Thessaloniki with the Albanian city Durrës. They also explained the details of the 3 day visit of the Greek mayor to Albania. The discussion took place in a very friendly atmosphere and possibly the mayor will visit Durrës during the last ten days of September.
