The government is going to decide in September if the new measure allowing bikes in Metro trains and Trollies is going to be adopted permanently.
Since March the Greek government has given an advantage to motorcycle riders to use different means of transportation with their bicycles, this was not possible in Greece before, although it is common in many European countries.
This measure was applied to facilitate the transport of bikers. Data showed that bikers were more motivated to use their bikes, after the new measure.
Bikers are allowed to put 1 bike in the first wagon and 2 bikes in the last wagon of the metro train.
