19-Year-Old Volunteer Found Dead in Samaria Gorge, Crete

A nineteen-year-old biology student was found dead in Samaria Gorge, Crete. He had been missing since yesterday, July 20th at 11:00 a.m. EMAK men carried out ​​investigations with the help of trained dogs and identified the unlucky young man in a deep and inaccessible spot, according to recent information.
The boy had been offering his services to the National Park of Samaria over the last seven days, where he had joined a  volunteer program after applying for a second consecutive year. Employees of the National Park, a group of seven hikers, a specially trained dog of EMAK from Heraklion and four men were involved in the identification of the young man. Police officers, Red Cross volunteers and the mountaineering club also took part in the investigation.
