Main opposition New Democracy (ND) party leads ruling PASOK party by 6 percentage points, according to a poll carried out by the Public Issue company and unveiled by a local newscast on Thursday.
According to the poll, ND garnered 32.5 per cent of respondents’ preferences, followed by PASOK with 26.5 pct; the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) picked up 11.5 pct.; the Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) 9 pct.; the Popular Orthodox Rally (LA.O.S) party 7.5 pct and the Ecologists Greens 3.5 pct. The Democratic Alliance garnered 1.5 pct and the Democratic Left party 2 pct.
According to the poll, the level of abstention reaches 38 pct.
