Group Attacks and Injures Two Police Officers at Exarchia

A savage attack was carried out by thirty hooded people at Exarchia on the evening of July 12. More specifically, two police officers were injured and taken to hospital. Police officers rushed to the scene to investigate and look for evidence to indicate those responsible for the violent attack that spread panic through the surrounding streets in the center of Athens.
About thirty hooded people holding pieces of wood, rocks and hammers attacked the police officers who were on foot, patrolling the square, at 19:35am, at the junction of Themistokleous and Eressou street.
