Greek Journalists Attended Stephen Harper’s Reception

The Prime Minister of Canada, Mr. Stephen Harper gave a reception in honor of representatives of the media, in the garden of the Prime Minister’s residence in Ottawa on Sussex Street 24, on Saturday. Numerous journalists and presenters of the Canadian media attended the event with their families, which was centered on the entertainment of children and adults.

The Prime Minister’s wife, Mrs. Lauren Harper expressed her excitement about their recent visit in Greece, stressing that she was impressed by the Acropolis Museum. As she said: “It’s one of the most impressive museums in the world, a combination of ancient beauty and functional modernism.”

Several politicians such as Minister, Maxime Bernier, Senators and other officials and journalists of Greek descent working for the Canadian media, among them Daniel Proussalidis (SunMedia) and Theophilus Argitis (Bloomberg News) attended the reception. Representatives of the Greek media in Canada also attended the event.

The Secretary of State Andrew McDougall and Head of the Regional Media in Canada John Papadimas welcomed all the journalists.
