Following the European Revolution in its cities’ central squares, more than 100,000 indignant Greeks stood outside Parliament. A similar gathering occurred during the huge political marches of the 80s and the 90s, when coaches hired by parties in power would bring people from all over Greece to Syntagma Square.
The aim of these protests across Europe is to send out a strong signal of indignation in a completely peaceful way.
Theodoros Pagkalos has virtually been ignored, although yesterday he was similar to a “guest of honor” because of the degrading descriptions he used against the displeased Greeks.
Bands playing music will accompany the protest to express the peaceful, but indignant feelings of the people.
