RMIT University of Melbourne organized an event dedicated to Greek musician and composer Ioannis Xenakis, who became well-known in France for his avant-garde music. Internationally acclaimed musicologist of Sydney, Richard Toop, will talk about the famous Greek composer, architect and mathematician. The event will start on the 10th of May at 12:00 and there will not be an entrance fee. As organizers say, Xenakis was a pioneer and was among the top of his field, for this reason, he is acclaimed around the whole world. The University is organizing the event to both honor the Greek artist and to enlighten the audience about his unprecedented work.
