Dr. George Bilalis and the “Romeiko Ensemble”, under his direction, present two new works including hymns, in CD and DVD formats. Among others, there is the representation of the Byzantine Emperor when he was attending with his courtiers the Deposition at the Church of St. Irene in Istanbul, behind Hagia Sophia. The children’s choir of St. George, Piscataway, also participates in these works. There are hymns from the Service of St. Vasilios in original Byzantine interpretation.
