An experienced career diplomat, Petros Panagopoulos, Minister Plenipotentiary B to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will be assuming the General Director position at the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad (GSGA). This was a decision of the competent Deputy Foreign Minister, Demetris Dollis.
This is the first time a diplomat assumes the General Director position at the GSGA. The decision will come into effect upon its publication in the Official Government Gazette.
