An exhibition titled “Hellenic Heritage. Greek Orthodox Diaspora in Hungary 17th – 19th Century” will be running from the 23rd of March until June 11th 2011, at the National History Museum at the Old Parliament House.
The exhibition held in collaboration with the “Historical and Ethnological Society of Greece” and the Embassy of Hungary in Athens, will be inaugurated by the Deputy Prime Minister of Hungary, Zsolt Semjen and the Minister of Education, Anna Diamantopoulou.
The exhibition includes luxurious clothing items, paintings, old engravings, lithographs, manuscripts, everyday objects, religious objects, pictures and statues from various museums and private collections in Hungary.
