Greek Diaspora Exhibition Held at Onassis Cultural Centre

From March 15th, The Onassis Cultural Centre will house an exhibition, named “Polyglossia” (multilingualism), which will feature artists of Greek descent. At the entrance of the building the visitors will be welcomed by “Pharos”, a sculpture made by internationally acclaimed Stephen Antonakos. Thirty artists will exhibit their creations, which will make the visitor explore the different messages of artistic “multilingualism” and discover the works of a more recent generation of Greeks who live in Europe and the U.S.A., as well as recent works of older and internationally acclaimed Greeks. Many of these works come from private collections, while others were created for the exhibition, like the video-installation “Sequence Error” by George Drivas. Some artists who participate are Athena Tacha, Christina Dimitriadis, Giorgos Gripeos, Chryssa, Takis, Zoe Keramea, John Cristoforou, Philolaos and many others. This list is completed by the names of some scientists who will give their opinion on the exhibition, which was organized by Marilena Kara and will last until the end of June.
