17-year-old Greek champion won a silver and a bronze medal at the “Gymnastics International” in Fellbach-Schmiden, Germany. She came second in ribbon with 25.634 points and third in clubs with 25.775 points. Moreover, she came forth in ball with 25.383 and fifth in hoop with 24.692 points. “Varvara was great. I knew her presence would be so strong. The results of the first test of this year are rather positive and we hope for other good performances at the following competitions”, said Nouli Giannitsopoulou, her coach. “Her new programs impressed the judges, who found them interesting and original. It is also very important that we start the new season with two medals, at a competition where the scores were absolutely exact and fair”, she added.
