Concerns Over Evacuation Process for Greeks in Libya

A Greek worker in a factory, located in the Libyan desert, made a phone call to a morning show and stated that armed people raided the factory.
Two C-130 aircrafts are in the disposal of the Greek state, ready to pick up Greeks in Libya wishing to leave for Greece. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, D. Dollis noted that the evacuation operation is the  Ministry’s top priority. Dollis stated also that they are trying hard to contact the Greeks living in Libya, as well as other countries’ Ministries of Foreign Affairs, so as to carry them back to Greece. This is a difficult mission, as most of the three-hundred Greeks were working in remote construction sites in the desert, which is extremely difficult to access.
