According to the Australian newspaper The Age, Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou will visit Australia shortly.
Yesterday the Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs Rudd visited Greece. According to the newspaper, the Australian Minister was going to rouse enthusiasm to the Greek officals with his intelligence and eloquence.
Rudd’s program includes a meeting with the Greek premier, where they will discuss essential issues such as his potential visit to Australia and the Cyprus issue. He is also going to meet with his Greek counterpart, Droutsas. Additionally he will visit Turkey, which is a partner of strategic importance to Australia.
