The 31st Νational Convention of the Cretan Federation of Australia and New Zealand took place in Hobart, Tasmania. The Convention was attended by representatives of many Cretan Federations and Associations such as the Cretan Association of Tasmania, Canberra and Queensland. The Prefect of Crete and the President of the World Council of Cretans Giorgos Aerakis, talked at the Convention. The President of the Cretan Federation Ioannis Nikolakakis thanked the audience. The Convention started on January 7th and finished on the 8th.
