Thousands of Greeks attended the ceremony of benediction of the waters in Frankston and in Rye for the celebration of Theofania.
The Mass was conducted by Bishop Dervis and Iezekiil in Frankston and by Father Eleftherios Tatsis in Rye. The weather was sunny and the Greek community concentrated in the two coastal centers of Melbourne and attended the liturgy. In Frankston, the Epiphany cross was retrieved by 13- year-old Iason Adamopoulos and in Rye, by Dimitris Kardas, for the fourth consecutive time.
