Australian Universities Face Reduction in International Enrollment

Many universities of Australia will face serious economic problems as the number of foreign students has reduced. According to recent information, the enrollment of foreign students in Australian universities has been 1,4% reduced. The foreign students constitute ¼ of the total students and their decrease will cause serious economic problems in the higher education sector. The Vice-Rector of Monash University stated that the enrollment of foreign students for English language courses in 2010 was 30% reduced. As a result, the income of Monash University was reduced by $40 million dollars.
