“Greek Action in Africa” Supports HIV Victims

Greek Mero Kesesioglou is the president of the foundation “Greek Action in Africa”.  The organization was established in 1980 and provides economical and psychological support to Africans, especially children. Ivoire Coast appointed her General Consul to Greece and the UN, Good Will Ambassador to fight AIDS.  Kesesioglou organizes charity events in many capitals of the world such as New York, London, Paris, Madrid, Istanbul.  The events raise money to buy medicines for HIV victims in many countries in Africa.
Kesesioglou stated: “I couldn’t stop crying when I visited our orphanage “Hellas-Macedonia”. This orphanage hosts 400 children, vehicles of the disease, whose parents died of AIDS.
