Greek Prime Minister Examines Exiting Euro-Zone

Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou, during a speech at PASOK’s Parliamentary Group on Sunday stated that it is possible that Greece will exit the euro-zone.  The nation looks for alliances, not only in Europe, but also in Africa.
A few days before the crucial discussion about the 2011 budget presentation, the Greek Prime Minister stated before the deputies of his party: “As I said in the EU Summit, Greece is doing the right thing. Now it’s the EU’s turn to succeed. And if it doesn’t, we will face many problems and we will have to bring out our own powers and invest in the Balkans, in the Mediterranean, in the Middle East, or in Africa, without loans. This is what we do today, in order to secure our national independence, our freedom and our social cohesion. We have a development plan for any emerging crisis”.
It is important to note that George Papandreou has visited Libya, Belgrade and Sofia many times lately.  His discussions with Arabs and Israel have increased.
