The Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Dimitrios Dollis, in Australia and the Greek government, made moves to solve the problem of the pensions of fellow Greeks. The Deputy Minister had a meeting with the director of the Prime Minister, Julia Gillard’s office. Both decided to tackle any obstacle that blocks the delivery of pensions to Greeks.
In addition, the Greek Deputy Minister had a discussion with the Minister of School Education, Peter Garrett about the teaching of the Greek language. They decided to avoid any bureaucratic delays during the modulation of the national teaching of foreign languages in Australia.
