See history in the making- a historical building in the centre of Athens was destroyed in 14 seconds!
Athens Mayor Nikitas Kaklamanis decided the demolition of this building so as to create a new square. He also wants a planted region aimed to improving citizens way of life. The demolition was controlled and the citizens who live next to the building were informed. The building was abandoned from the ‘80s. Something had to be done in order not to cause problems to the apartments next to it. Therefore the municipality of Athens bought it and now a green park will be created.
