The 3rd International Conference of Overseas Magnites was aiming at settle new cooperation bridges between the Magnites and the overseas ones.
Besides the registration and integration of overseas Magnites worldwide in the body of the Diaspora of Magnesia Prefecture, known as “Koinon ton Magniton”, the conference had also many others goals. Firstly, the participants had the opportunity to make proposals in the promotion of Magnesia Prefecture in the countries where members of the Diaspora are being active, in view of the Mediterranean Games, and to contribute to the development of educational exchanges between the University of Thessaly and Academic Institutions Abroad, but also Greek Studies Chairs, as well as to help, through coordinated activities of Diaspora members in the enhancement of the image of Greece abroad.
