The next Greek-Australian Legal and Medical Conference in Rhodes

The next International Legal and Medical Conference which is organised by Greek-Australians will be held in September 2011 in Rhodes. In the Congress, many notable scientists from all over the world will participate.

The President of this  not-for-profit organization, formed in 2002 to promote the ideals of Hellenism and Greek Culture, is Evgenia Mitraka who has already organised seven conferences until now in Greece and Australia as well.

“In these conferences, more than 5000 people took part. Their participation and presence, apart from the scientific importance, has also many economic benefits for our country, Greece” Mrs. Mitraka stated, underlining that in these conferences, apart from the Greek- Australians, the participants are also notable scientists from Australia, Greece and many other countries throughout the world.

At these events, the organization aims to address contemporary issues in law and medicine. In particular, aspects relating to evolving aspects of professional responsibilities and the roles and duties of professionals are debated, particularly when facing current practice and ethical issues.

As a rcognition of its work, the members of the “Greek Conference” will be welcomed by the state governor Mr. David de Kretser and his wife in the Office of the governor. During this evemt, “the Greek Conference” will make a donation in the Cell & Gene Therapy unit of Murdoch Childrens Institute in Melbourne.
