Thousands of signatures were submitted to the Board of the Commonwealth Parliament in Australia. 20.000 out of the signatures were collected by “Neos Kosmos” with the help of Diaspora organizations and individuals.
The signatures were submitted on behalf of the Greek Diaspora by the Greek MPs of the Labour Party, Maria Vamvakinou and Steve Georganas.
In her speech, Ms. Vamvakinou informed the Parliament on the Campaign of the Diaspora for the inclusion of the Greek Language in the National Language Curriculum.
In a few days, additional thousands of signatures will be submitted in support of this request, collected from all states.
