Calamos Supports Greece

Blaming Otto

What’s easier than stating the obvious? “Greece played terrible today, Otto SHOULD HAVE presented a different starting eleven, then picked different guys for substitutions and altogether selected a different national team”

Bloody hell, even a person with no IQ level could make a statement like that, so let’s not demean ourselves by placing us to that category.

European Cup winner of 2004, Otto Rehhagel, has an astonishing physique for his age, however it’s rather common that when a man has such great experience in life, most likely he will listen to his own views and methods than the ones that others try to set upon him. So, we can all go on and on about how we would rather watch Panathinaikos’ 20 y/o midfielder Sotirios Ninis, Olympiakos’ 22 y/o striker Kostas Mitroglou, AEK’s 23 y/o midfielder Grigorios Makos or PAOK’s 22y/o winger Vasilios Koutsianikoulis on our men’s national team, but we are only going to waste our energy and make ourselves more stressful. After all, one would think in his shoes: “I made something (2004) from a nothing (1994). What have YOU done? Who are YOU to teach me about football?”

Our national coach, is a 72 y/o German, he won’t listen to a bunch of Greeks!
