The sequel to the successful “Wog Boy”, “The Kings of Mykonos” with Greek-Australian star Nick Giannopoulos will have its world premiere in Melbourne on Tuesday May 11.
The film “The Kings of Mykonos” was shot mostly on the beautiful island of Mykonos and the city of Melbourne early last fall and, as the film’s producers say, it is expected to promote Greek tourism internationally in these “hard times” for Greece.
The film describes the story of Greek-Australian Steve (Nick Giannopoulos) and his friend Frank (Vince Colosimo) as they travel to Steve’s homeland island of Mykonos to reclaim his heritage which consists of a beach, the “paradise beach”, and a tavern.
Also starring: Zeta Makrypoulia, Alex Dimitriades, Demetris Starovas, Galini Tseva, Kevin Sorbo, Cosima Coppola, and Manos Gavras.
