The Greek men’s national water polo team stood on the brink of reaching the final on Monday against Spain. It was a mere one-tenth of a second away from beating Spain. Yet, in a cruel twist of fate, Spain equalized with only 0.1 seconds remaining, forcing a penalty shootout in which Greece ultimately fell, 4-2.
