Twitter to Release Video App for Smart TVs

Ever since Elon Musk took charge of Twitter last year, he has often encouraged people to share their videos on the platform. Some people have followed his advice, like the Real Talk with Zuby Podcast, which recently uploaded an interview with Musk.

During conversations about that podcast episode, some users asked Musk if there could be new features. Musk responded to a tweet suggesting the need for a separate Twitter video app for Smart TVs by saying, “It’s coming.”

The company plans to revitalize business

In a recent presentation to investors, Elon Musk and Twitter’s new CEO, Linda Yaccarino, discussed the company’s plans to revitalize its business.

Twitter aims to prioritize video content, collaborations with content creators, and partnerships in commerce, moving beyond its traditional reliance on advertising.

Yaccarino mentioned that Twitter is already engaged in initial discussions with political and entertainment personalities, news outlets, media publishers, and payment service providers.
