Pay a Visit to the Surrounding Villages near Delphi

Just a twenty-minute drive from Delphi is the quaint city of Amfissa. With many Neo-Classic buildings lining the streets and town square, the city dates back some 3,000 years.

At one time, it was the most important city of the ancient Greek tribe of the Ozolian Locrians, as well as one of the most powerful cities in central Greece. Here, you can check out the ruins of the medieval Castle of Oria or the Byzantine Savior Church, which was built in the eleventh century.
