Tony nominee and former American Idol contestant Constantine Maroulis has released a new music video for his song, “Try”.
The talented singer’s new single focuses on a father’s relationship with, and love for, his daughter. For Maroulis, who in real life has a nine-year-old daughter named Malena, the song is undoubtedly personal.
“Try” is from Maroulis’ 3rd album, titled “Until I’m Wanted”, and was released in July of 2020. The singer had not released an album before this once since 2007’s self-titled “Constantine”.
However, Maroulis has been keeping really busy on stage, even being named Broadway’s Star of the Year in 2009. His leading turn on “Rock of Ages” won him critical acclaim and earned the Greek-American singer his Tony nomination, while he also got rave reviews for his role in “Jekyll & Hyde”.
