Giannis Antetokounmpo made another great gesture by donating this season’s uniforms to the Greek team in which he started his spectacular career in basketball.
EFAO Zografou B.C. – in short Filathlitikos – in the Zografou neighborhood of Athens is proud for being the team in which the NBA MVP scored his first points.
The international Greek forward of the Milwaukee Bucks who continues to break records has never forgotten Filathlitikos that introduced him to the world of basketball and led him to the magical world of NBA.
EFAO Zografou plays its home games at the Zografou AntetokounBros Municipal Gymnasium in Zografou. In 2019, the arena was named after the Antetokounmpo brothers (Francis, Thanasis, Giannis, Kostas, and Alex), all of whom played with the club at various times, whether in the men’s team, or in the club’s youth teams.
Sponsoring the Greek team’s gear is yet another gesture of gratitude from Giannis.
“EFAO Zografou thanks Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nike and Octagon Europe for sponsoring the uniforms of our club!!!!”, the team replied on Twitter.
