Survey: Use of Condoms Drops Among Greek Teenagers

Less Greek teenagers use condoms during sexual intercourse, according to a new survey conducted by the University Mental Health Research Institute in Athens.
“Sexual Behaviour and Health of Teenagers” is part of a national study conducted by the institute and the results on Greek teenagers were published on Friday.
The research shows that one in four Greek 15-year-olds (26.4 percent) had sexual intercourse at least once. The percentage of boys is almost double than that of girls (34.3 percent vs 18.6 percent).
The percentage of boys having sexual intercourse has not changed significantly between 2002 and 2018 (33.6 percent vs 34.3 percent, respectively).
The results were released ahead of World AIDS Day on Sunday.
