The stock market trading week closed with the Athens Stock Exchange showing a drop of 0,80 percent on Friday, with total losses for the week amounting to 5.6 percent.
Despite the usual holiday season’s boost in retail, the Athens bourse showed losses for its sixth consecutive session. With only a few days left until the end of the year, several stocks recorded profits in the face of closing and price-fixing in investor’s books.
The General Index closed at 608.58 points, dropping 0.80 percent, while on a weekly basis trading declined 5.6 percent.
