Harvard, Yale, UCLA, Duke, Johns Hopkins, in addition to another 30 universities are opening their doors to top graduates from medical schools across Greece. The interest shown by major universities is yet another example of the quality of Greek graduates. However, how will graduates that choose to go abroad return to their homeland or even be of help to their country?
The World Hellenic Biomedical Association (WHBA) has announced a new program for graduates coming from the medical departments of Greek universities. The program aims to support the preparation of new Greek doctors and scholars for specialization in university hospitals and medical centers abroad. It is designed to give participants the necessary laboratory and/or clinical experience to compete in their efforts to gain clinical expertise, initially in the U.S. and other countries in the future.
