PM Tsipras: Greece Will Continue Struggle for German Reparations

Tsipras KommenoOn Tuesday, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras referred to the claim of German reparations and the occupation loan in his address at the ceremony for the commemoration of the 317 Greeks that were massacred by the occupying German troops on August 16, 1943.
“We will continue to struggle at all levels based on a plan, strategy and solid legal documentation. This is an initiative of national importance and we will do what is necessary at both diplomatic and legal level to meet this obligation,” he said.
Referring to the claim of the German reparations and the occupation loan, the prime minister also stressed that “there is a coherent national strategy on the initiative and coordination of the Greek Parliament.”
