The Greek independent gas company, M&M Gas has become the first independent gas company in Greece to exported gas to Bulgaria, according to hellenicshippingnews.com.
The small volumes that were sold on a test basis is a part of a deal following an agreement between gas network operators DESFA and Bulgartransgaz which permits the transport of gas between Greece and Bulgaria beginning July 1.
M&M Gas is a joint venture between Mytilineos and Motor Oil.
The gas sold to Bulgaria was from M&M’s own gas portfolio, which includes LNG.
The trade took place at the interconnection point Kulata-Sidirokastro.
