Tracy Spiridakos may have been part of the “Revolution” but now she’s checking into the “Bates Motel.”
The Greek-Canadian/American actress has locked in a guest starring role on the A&E drama, a prequel to the Alfred Hitchcock film “Psycho.” According to Entertainment Weekly, Spiridakos will play Annika Johnson, “a mysterious woman who shows up at the hotel in the third season premiere.”
The series depicts the life of Norman Bates and his mother Norma prior to the events portrayed in the film, but in a different fictional town – White Pine Bay, Oregon, as opposed to the film’s Fairvale, California – and it takes place in a modern setting.
Heading into its third season, “Bates Motel” returns to A&E in March 2015.
“Revolution,” the science fiction drama Spiridakos starred in as Charlie Matheson, was cancelled by NBC earlier this year after two seasons.
