An 18-year old high-school student ended his life by jumping off a six-floor building next to the hall in which he was due to take national exams Wednesday morning.
He was immediately hospitalized in Giannitsa, where the doctors performed cannulation, but his condition required transfer to Ippokrateio Hospital in Thessaloniki for further treatment.
He suffered multiple severe chest and limb injuries and had zero blood pressure. Staff of Ippokrateio hospital said the boy was already dead on arrival.
His parents were informed as they reached Ippokrateio. Police are also expected to visit the hospital to take statements to determine the reasons behind the suicide.
