Two More Thermal Springs in Greece Certified

edipsos660 (1)According to the Ministry of Tourism, Greece now has two more recognized thermal springs by international authorities who certify them.
The Special Committee for the Protection of Natural Therapeutical Sources recognized the thermal spring in Agrapidia of Florina while Edipsos, in Evia, will have its fifth recognized mineral spring in Frini Stourtanioti.
Greece now has 20 sanctioned thermal springs in total,  an encouraging development during the tourism season and an important attraction for more tourists.
The rest of the 18 recognized thermal springs in Greece can be found in the following locations:
Lake Vouliagmeni, Athens Region
Kamena Vourla, Municipality of Molos-Agios Konstantinos, Phthiotis Region
Krinides, in the Kavala regional unit in eastern Macedonia
Loutraki-Pozar, in Aridaia, in the Pella regional unit
Souroti, in Thessaloniki
Kanistra, in Kassandra, Chalkidiki
Loutraki-Perachora, in Corinth
Thermi, in Thessaloniki
Paranesti, in Drama Region
Gialtra of Edipsos
Chanopoulos, in Arta, Epirus
S. Appolonia, In Volvi
Papaioannou, in Edipsos
Traianoupolis, in Evros
Therme Sile in Edipsos,
Diamanti-Pepona in Edipsos
and the source of S. Foka in the island of Kos
